Friend or Foe??

Question:

This “friend” has hurt people to the extreme. She has kept me around to lie to me about other people. She wants me around to listen to all of her made up problems and false accusations. She has tried to control MY TIME, who MY FRIENDS ARE, and so on. She has tried to turn me against good people, sometimes just because she was jealous of them, and other times because she just wanted to be nasty. I have VERY good reason for wanting to end this friendship. How?

Possible Answer:

1) Set her down, tell her exactly why you are ending the friendship, wish her all the best, and walk away. It’s that easy. She’s hardly been a friend to you (or anyone else for that matter) so you have every right to not have to put up with it. Besides, what’s the worst that can happen? If she spreads any kind of rumors about you, you can laugh in her face, coz she’s pissed off so many people that nobody would believe her over you.

2) Tell the person why you don’t want to be friends anymore. They will either understand and change their ways or get mad and deal with it elsewhere. If they don’t want to lose the friendship as they said then they will change to make it work.

Credit Cards - can they build credit??

Question:
Do Credit Cards help to build a credit history?

Answer:
Having a credit card in your name will
build your credit history because of the monthly payments you are
required to make. Building a good credit history contributes to having
a higher credit score.

Function

Each
month, the credit card company will report whether you paid your bill
as agreed. This information will go on your credit report.

Considerations

Your
credit card company will report whether your account is current each
month, whether you have used the card or not. For example, even if you
did not spend any money and your balance equals $0, you will still be
reported as being on time on your credit report.

Significance

Your
payment history accounts for 35 percent of your credit score, so using
credit wisely has a major impact on your credit score.

Time Frame

Credit cards count towards the length of your credit history, which accounts for 15 percent of your credit score.

Importance of a High Credit Score

Lenders
use your credit score as one factor in determining whether to issue you
a loan. If you are approved, a higher credit score may qualify you for
a lower interest rate.
